International Circle for Development and Peace in Support of the Governments of the African Continent (ICDPSGAC)
The International Circle for Development and Peace in Support of the Governments of the African Continent (ICDPSGAC) is a non-profit, non-political, non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in South Africa in March 2021 by El Hadj Djato Issa. The organization is registered in South Africa under Registration No. 506968/08/2021/CIPC.
ICDPSGAC brings together peace advocates, development practitioners, professionals, and representatives from African countries to promote peace, democracy, good governance, social cohesion, human rights, African unity, and rapid and sustainable development. It operates independently of political parties and does not participate in partisan political activities.
Main Objectives and SDG Alignment
The principal objective of ICDPSGAC is to contribute to a peaceful, democratic, united, stable, and rapidly developing Africa, where all Africans can enjoy the benefits of democracy, security, dignity, opportunity, and sustainable development.
The organization is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
• SDG 4 – Quality Education: promoting quality education, civic and peace education, leadership development, skills development, and lifelong learning.
• SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth: supporting employment, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, innovation, skills development, and inclusive economic growth.
• SDG 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, democratic values, justice, good governance, accountability, strong institutions, conflict prevention, and non-violence.
ICDPSGAC advocates zero violence across Africa and supports dialogue, mediation, reconciliation, peacebuilding, civic participation, and peaceful conflict resolution. It seeks to prevent political and communal violence, armed conflicts, extremism, and other threats to peace and development.
The organization also promotes African unity and solidarity, cooperation among all African countries, and stronger partnerships between governments, civil society, academia, development institutions, communities, youth, women, and other stakeholders.
Its development agenda focuses on education, employment, entrepreneurship, infrastructure, innovation, social welfare, institutional capacity, and improved living standards. Particular emphasis is placed on empowering youth and women to participate meaningfully in peacebuilding, democratic governance, economic development, and community transformation.

To contribute to the emergence of a peaceful, democratic, united, stable, and rapidly developing Africa, where every African can enjoy peace, security, dignity, democratic participation, and sustainable development.
Mission
To promote peace, democracy, zero violence, good governance, social cohesion, and sustainable development throughout Africa through advocacy, education, research, dialogue, conflict prevention, partnerships, and practical development initiatives.

ICDPSGAC is guided by peace and non-violence, democracy and good governance, human rights and dignity, African unity, dialogue, social inclusion, equality, sustainable development, youth and women’s participation, accountability, transparency, national sovereignty, and the rule of law.
As a non-political NGO, ICDPSGAC does not endorse political parties or seek to replace government institutions. Its engagement with governments and public institutions is solely intended to advance peace, democracy, stability, good governance, and accelerated development across Africa. Its guiding philosophy is that peace creates the foundation for democracy, democracy strengthens stability, and stability enables sustainable development.
